Associate Professor Craig Hassed is an internationally recognised expert in Mindfulness who has been instrumental in promoting Mindfulness as a simple and accessible technique for enhancing wellness, preventing and managing illness, and improving performance within health, educational and corporate settings. He is the founding president of the Australian Teachers of Meditation Association.
As a researcher, lecturer and writer with years of clinical and teaching experience in many areas of psychology, Dr Stephen McKenzie has written several books including Exisle’s Mindfulness at Work and with Craig Hassed, Mindfulness for Life. His latest book is Heartfulness. Dr McKenzie lectures in psychology at Melbourne’s Monash University.

He is also employed as a mindfulness consultant by Monash University and regularly consults to top-tier law firms and premier educational institutions. He is a developer of Smiling Mind, a free web and iPhone app designed to make Mindfulness accessible to young people.
Margie Ulbrick is a collaborative family lawyer, relationship counsellor, psychotherapist and writer, who makes extensive use of Mindfulness skills in her work with couples, individuals and families.

Deirdre Hassed has had a fascination with handwriting since childhood, often delving into her grandfather’s old sign-writing box with its treasure trove of brushes, gold leaf and finely crafted steel pens. This hobby eventually led to the pursuit of a career in the craft of calligraphy and hand lettering. Deirdre works from the tranquil space of her purpose-built studio. A deep interest in philosophy underpins her life, with the wisdom traditions offering a rich reservoir of texts to inspire her calligraphic works.
Kirrili Lonergan is a children’s book illustrator and former paediatric nurse, whose illustrations display a profound understanding of the needs of children. She can be found enjoying good times with her husband and four children in Newcastle, Australia.
